PAF26 features a wide range of offerings, including foundational 101 classes, as well as advanced 201 and 301 level material for attendees seeking deeper study and practice.

Below you will find the presenters shaping this year’s programming, along with details about the classes, workshops, panels, and demonstrations they will share with us at PAF26.

  • Brian “CreamChezFrostin” (he/him) has been in the scene since 2018 and quickly discovered an interest in a variety of kinks, especially rope and medical play. His rope style is not focused on pretty shibari ties but functional rope transitions with an emphasis on the sadistic. Brian specializes in multiple transition suspensions and suspensions with multiple bottoms. On the medical play side, he enjoys needles, sutures, cutting, microbranding, blood cupping, leeches, and more. His scenes range from intimate and connective to silly and weird. As long as there’s blood or rope - or sometimes both - he’s a happy sadist.
Cookie “Cookie_Doe_” (she/they) has been bottoming since 2012 and has spent the past 4 years deeply exploring rope and medical play. She enjoys digging into the nuances of kink, communication, and human behavior, and is especially passionate about creating education that’s meaningful for both tops and bottoms. Cookie shares insights drawn from her years of wide-ranging experiences with curiosity and care, whether someone is new to the scene or seeking fresh ways to play. While her interests span many play styles, she’s happiest when being tortured by someone she shares a deep emotional connection with.

  • Torture Ties
Whether you're newer to tying or have been exploring rope for years, this class focuses on sadistic yet simple ties that can be easily adapted to a wide range of bodies and skill levels. We’ll break down one of our favorite torture ties, the Guatemalan, which can be used in both floor rope and partial suspensions. We’ll also share a few sadistic floor rope techniques that offer greater versatility and can be easily customized to fit your unique style. Come ready to tie, be tied, or just watch and learn. To fully participate, attendees should know basic rope safety and how to tie a single column. Experience with basic lock-offs is also helpful, but not required. We recommend bringing a partner and rope for practicing the ties.

    All Stitched Up: Exploring Sutures
Whether you’re a seasoned sharps enthusiast or just getting started, sutures offer a unique and exciting twist on the classic needle experience. In this class, we’ll dive into the different suture gauges, materials, and styles to help you choose the best fit for your play. The technique we’ll cover is the interrupted stitch knot, an easy and effective way to tie off sutures, so no prior experience with suturing is required. By the end of the session, you'll have a solid understanding of the technique and the confidence to incorporate sutures into your scenes in a way that maximizes both safety and creativity.

Bring your just curiosity, imagination, and a willingness to experiment!

We will use found objects from nature, cardboard, glue, and mud paint. You’ll design and build your own expressive mask to wear at camp, to rituals, and beyond.

Join us in a collective painting ritual where creation becomes conversation. Together, we will build a living artwork that grows with us, one mark at a time. Each gesture will respond to the rhythms, colors, and movements of the energy around us. Ritual goers will respond to the traces left by those who came before, and through this process, we’ll shape an abstract reflection of the present moment. An image born from shared intuition, awareness, and connection. No prior experience is needed, just openness to explore, to listen, and to let your marks speak.

  • Rebecca Doll enjoys being pretty and pleasing and an object of admiration, and is an exhibitionist pain slut of the highest caliber. They love being put through their paces publicly and take great joy in leaving their audience with mouths agape at the end of their scenes. While beatings are fun, they are most fond of anything that draws blood - either their own or someone else's. Physicality is not the core of their interests, however. As a member of House of Artemisia, they spend a significant amount of their time focused on exploring the more twisted desires of the human mind, and applying their academic background, including putting their Master's degree in Education to use in understanding the human needs for control, violence, and self-destruction.

James Gordon is one of the generation of people who missed out on ancient houses and traditions and grew up learning kink on the internet and in the bedroom in the late 80s and 90s, through friends, partners, alt.sex.bondage, books, and eventually clubs and events. He became interested in Master/slave dynamics in the early 2000s, and over the course of a decade and a half of practical experience and focus on the human mind has moved towards a modern interpretation of power exchange that explodes old myths, stereotypes, and gender roles, to reach for the core concepts of the human need for structure, chaos, dominance and submission. He holds a Certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

  • Death Fetish 101: The Ultimate Taboo
The seething sexuality of slasher films and Suicide Girls illustrate that concepts of death and sex are inseparable in our minds. But Death is the ultimate "no fly" zone of fetishes, too scary and immediate for many to be comfortable with. We all know that fantasizing doesn't mean wanting, but when it comes to death too many TV shows have convinced us that we shouldn't dig too deep, leaving players willing to transgress the taboo without a playbook or the safety tips that routinely cover other areas of fetish. We'll investigate the roots of our sexualized obsession with death, and look into ways that deathplay can be incorporated into our scenes with a strong eye towards safety, physical and emotional.

Death Fetish 201: The Next Level

So you're already at home with the idea that sex and death are an erotic core of our culture. You've watched the slasher films, you've come to peace with those friends who have decied your kink is most definitely not okay. You want to scale new heights. We'll talk more about the psychology of death play, its roots in our culture, and suggest ideas for scenes...and safety to keep you breathing till your next deathplay scene. We'll look at tools for deathplay, both mental and physical.

    Hypnosis 201
In our 201 class we begin with the presumption you know how to get someone into a basic hypnotic state. If you don't...don't worry. It's easy to learn and we'll point you at references. We'll recap basic hypnosis and consent, then move on to advanced inductions, working with people who are more difficult to hypnotize, and how to create physical sensations and new experiences that can broaden your play with hypnosis.

  • Zahara (any pronouns) is an autistic, agender-ish, queer switch and sex educator. They have been an active participant in the DMV kink community since 2023. • Please Don't Put That There: Sex Toy Materials and Safety
Have you ever heard about dildos melting together in someone's toy bag? Or wondered why some sex toys smell like chemicals? Or even what the best lube option for different activities are? Sex toys are an almost completely unregulated industry in the United States (ever notice how they all say "novelty toy"?) and some can be downright dangerous. This class will focus on sex toy safety, including different materials they can be made of (and ones to avoid), how to clean and care for sex toys, and red flags when purchasing sex toys. Information about condoms and lube will also be discussed and if there is interest/time, there will also be time for a presenter offered sex toy concierge service where you can get help finding the perfect sex toy for you.

  • Primal Energy Play: Awakening the Hidden Hunger
Beneath the surface calm lives a pulse - the body’s own hunger to move, connect, and be felt. In this experiential class, we’ll explore how to awaken and work with that primal current through breath, sound, movement, and energetic exchange. You’ll learn to sense and build energy in yourself, recognize the “charge” that rises during primal states, and channel it safely into play, connection, and expression. We’ll work with grounding and centering techniques so that intensity becomes clarity instead of chaos, and desire becomes a tool for deeper awareness rather than control. This class blends instinct and presence, inviting you to meet the animal beneath the skin with curiosity and respect. Come ready to move, breathe, and discover how your energy shifts when you let the hunger be witnessed - not suppressed.

  • Madame Vava is a POC FemDomme, educator, and curator of intentional power exchange experiences. Known for her poised, commanding presence and down-to-earth presenting style, she blends sensual sadism, high protocol structure, and psychological depth into both her sessions and her teaching. With 14 years of experience in the kink community — in both private practice and public spaces — she brings a nuanced understanding of power dynamics, safety, and the transformative potential of play. Her educational approach is grounded in consent, emotional intelligence, and skill development. She believes BDSM is not simply about aesthetics or intensity, but about connection, self-awareness, and mastery of craft. In class, students can expect a thoughtful balance of practical technique and theory delivered with clarity, warmth, and authority. Her offerings are ideal for those seeking structure and a deeper, more intentional understanding of power exchange.

  • Shadow, Shame, and Desire: Integrating the Dark Self in Kink
There are parts of us that crave control. Parts that ache for humiliation. Parts that long to surrender, dominate, inflict, or endure. This class is an invitation to meet those parts without fear. In this psychologically grounded workshop, we explore the shadow side of desire — the impulses we were taught to hide, judge, or silence — and examine how they manifest within BDSM. Through guided reflection and intentional dialogue, participants will investigate the tension between fantasy and identity, power and vulnerability, shame and liberation. Rather than pathologizing taboo desire, we will learn how to integrate it consciously: with negotiation, structure, and emotional responsibility. This is a reflective container designed for depth, not spectacle. Participation is Required: Engagement in exercises and discussion is part of the experience. Sharing is Voluntary: Personal disclosure is always optional. No Late Admittance: The container closes once the workshop begins. Bring Your Own: Journal and pen. Optional rope, toys, or symbolic items may be brought for integration discussions (no active play). Bring a Partner: Encouraged for those wishing to practice communication frameworks together, but not required to participate. For those ready to turn toward their darkness — not to indulge it recklessly, but to understand it.

He has been exploring wax play from the beginning of his kink journey and has been teaching wax play for 4 years. • Wax Play 101
Amazingly intense, remarkably sensual, soothing cocoon of warmth, or shocking! Wax play can be used for sensation play in a sadistic or a relaxing way. It can be added to other forms of play (such as rope/impact/knife), or wax can be its own scene altogether. Want to add a new versatile element to your scenes? New to the wide world of kink and want to try something not seen usually? Ever wonder where to start with wax play? Come along and see!

  • SuspendDisbelief (she/her) is a queer, non-monogamous lifestyle submissive and emotional masochist. Her hobby of choice has been getting hurt in public for fun since 2017. When she is not busy flirting with sadists, bleeding, crying, or philosophizing about power exchange, she can usually be found where the rope is. She allows her professional teaching experience, exhibitionism, and chaos goblin play style to take the reigns as she teaches, firmly emphasizing that there is no perfect way to do edge play, but finding safer ways is both worth it and fun. She delights in using her experience with ADHD to help others who have been betrayed by their neurodivergence while learning skills "get it". AutomataBound (they/them) is a queer, switchy bondage nerd who loves bringing ridiculous concepts to life. They have been in the DMV scene for 5 years and currently co-facilitate education for their local chapter of Hitchin' Bitches.

  • The Double Diamond Chest Harness
This cute, suspension-worthy, arms-out chest harness emphasizes self-tieability but also works well for paired rope practice. It is ideal for experimenting with tension, structure, and creating your perfect rope hug, leveling up your skills while looking great. We will go through the logic of the choices made in the harness and suggest modifications/areas for improvisation so that students can mold the harness to their needs and strengths. Students should bring 2-4 hanks of rope and a cutting tool. Limited extra supplies will be available. "Tops" should be comfortable tying 1) a non-collapsing single column tie and 2) half hitch. "Bottoms" should be comfortable with rope on their ribs or waist and be able to communicate body sensations. Self-tiers should meet both top and bottom criteria, as well as be able to briefly touch the back of their waist with a hand. Please arrive on time, as we will not have time to backtrack much for latecomers! Students may tie along or just observe.

Tied and True: Introduction to Rope Bondage
This 101-level course is aimed toward anybody who has barely touched rope but wants to, who would like a refresher, or who, much like the presenter, was repeatedly betrayed by their neurodivergence while trying to learn rope and would benefit from novel ways to look at the basics. It provides opportunities to learn basic risk awareness, pros and cons of rope materials, and building blocks such as single column knots and connecting rope. This class aims to provide a "grab-bag" of several ways to achieve each step, allowing students to pick what works for them from both topping and bottoming perspectives. If you have at least one 24-30ft length of rope and a cutting tool, please bring them, but there will be a small amount of loaner materials. You can bring but do not need a partner for this class. We will work under the philosophy that there is no “one true way” you must perfectly carry out, but a few tips can help keep beginners safer.

  • Meditative Needle Work
This class is about combining needle play with intentional meditative/energy work. This will cover considerations to be made in planning an intentional scene, how and what to negotiate, things that can be included in setting intentions. I will not be specifically teaching needle play, or any specific energy work or meditative practice, but how the two can be woven together into an intentional working. This means we will be discussing aspects of both, with the assumption participants have some understanding of both. Discussion will be specific to needleplay, as that is my practice and experience. However, these are concepts that could be applicable to incorporating deeper intention and meditation into other types of play.

  • CHOMP: Intentional Biting
Anyone can bite, and to some degree everyone does, but sometimes, a hug just isn't enough, and what's more focused than a hug? A Bite! An intentional bite is one of the most variable forms of physical affection and of the most adaptable forms of intimate connection. Whether you're focused on sensation, intimacy, energy, sadism, leaving marks, rough sex, or a desire/need for nonverbal communication; biting is always an option that when done right, can significantly add to almost any physical act and add to the memory of what was experienced. Anyone can bite, but biting with intention and precision takes more than the often spontaneous act. This class will take a comprehensive approach in covering biting from the basics to the advanced. Topics will include the physics of biting both in the mouth and under the skin, consent around biting, styles and placement of bites, how to add intention and control to your bites, and how to communicate through biting. The class will end with a communication through biting activity. Participants are encouraged to bring partners/people to bite and be bitten by.

    CHOMP 201: BItelab
It's one thing to know how to bite with intention and skill, to mark or not, to remember you have an entire body while focusing on your teeth. By taking the time to hone our biting practice in a workshop/lab setting, we take our intentional biting to the next level. We learn not only the basics, but how to personalize our bites for ourselves, our partners, our bodies, and the contexts we're in. The 201 if you will. Building off of the ideas from CHOMP 101: Intentional Biting, Bite Lab is a combination workshop/lab and discussion with a similar format to the bite manual that led to Fox's Chomp 101 class. Ideally taking place in a multipurpose play/dungeon space, Bite Lab takes the time to go through different styles of bites with focus of intent and what may be included in communication and physical movement, and how best to use the particular bite based on mouth shape, body type and location, and available sex/dungeon furniture and body positions that may be involved. While all are welcome to attend and participate in discussion, you won't full get the most out of this class if you don't attend with someone to bite/be bit by.

    Mixing Substances & Play Discussion
A particularly relevant topic for camp and festival events. The landscape of substance use and everyday society is changing. Our country is still dealing with a massive opioid crisis. Coke continues to be a party drug despite causing erection dysfunction more effectively than any bout of whiskey dick. Cannabis is becoming a more common and socially approved source of mental and physical symptom relief. Controlled psychedelics and ketamine are once again being more actively researched regarding their impacts on improved mental health and trauma processing. People forget that alcohol is a drug and falls under this too. Do substances stop when we're considering neurochemicals and scene highs? Currently approximately 66% of adults in the US take prescription medications, many of which can have a bevy of side effects when improperly combined. Do you even know how many traditional herbal methods and supplements there are for enhancing pleasure, sex, sensation, endurance, and arousal, all available at any standard pharmacy? The reality is that whether it's cannabis, shrooms, molly, horny goat weed, viagra, alcohol, or the manic energy of an event/festival, many people mix substances and play, so it's all the more important we have open discussions to ensure safe practices, risk awareness, and consent. This guided discussion* will include information on safe use habits and harm reduction, important communication and negotiation protocols, and how best to choose what is within your risk profile both internally and with others. *This guided discussion is in no way a replacement for group therapy, AA, SA, NA, or any others and follows a peer support and harm reduction model.

  • Drawing from the Ashes
Charcoal and Ashes, some of our most familiar and primitive materials, also serve as one of our oldest mediums. Using the ashes and burned wood collected from prior Primal Arts Fests, we'll draw the landscape, people, and structures that have made such a huge impact on us. Connect with nature on a primal level and take a beautiful memento home. No experience necessary, all materials provided.

    “Is that a Nipple!?” Painting
Let's use our bodies to make art! We will provide canvas and paint, you’ll provide the stamps! We will be painting various body parts (butts, balls, feet, or anything else you want) and stamping them on the canvas. No brushes allowed!! You can use any or all parts of your bodies and then “finger-painting” to your heart’s content! At the end, you'll have a hangable piece of art to take home. Fun abstract play with shapes or more figurative designs, I'll be there to help you create the perfect masterpiece!

    The Hunt’s Hecklers Prepare
The Prey and Predators play their high energy power game. They run and tussle in the dirt for kicks, however, we all know their true purpose.. to put on a show for us: The Hecklers. Held during The Hunt Orientation, Hecklers and Fans will be able to join the festivities by providing their own flair. We will create signs, banners, scoring cards and pom poms to cheer with. Body paint will also be available for the players and watchers in preparation for the annual Primal Hunt! (Note: All in jest and good humor!)

  • From their first moments at Primal, Violet and Veers knew there was something profound that drew them to this energy and community. Each with their own journeys in the lifestyle, they met and found a bond in life, power exchange and spirit. Both identify as switches, rope and practice power exchange and ENM.
Violet (she/they) is a multi-faceted soul who has been exploring alternative forms of expression for most of her life. Through experimentation and self-inquiry, they have found the human spirit to be most transparent in rope, sexuality and power exchange. She has attended, taught and performed in multiple events and workshops nationally and internationally, both as a top and bottom. She has a passion for diving into our elusive psyche that connects and divides one other. With this passion, she and her life partner Veers, have opened a rope studio in DC where others can explore and discover themselves and others in the context of rope.
Veers (he/him) has been in and out of the kink scene for the last 10+ years. Always having an affinity for bondage, he found his way into the community and through his relationship with Violet, really began to explore Shibari, at first from an explorative perspective and now as a practicing rope top and bottom. He feels that for one to truly understand how rope affects each person involved, one must observe, develop the skills of tying and also the experience of being tied. He sees rope as a relational experience where connection and emotion are developed between the top, the bottom and the rope itself. He has been a part of multiple workshops locally as well as in Chicago and has attended multiple Naka-Ryu 1 workshops in Europe, taught by Wildties/Redsabbath. He has also taken private instruction from Rigger Odys and Hua Hua and will be attending Naka-Ryu 2 in Prague in 2026. He is grateful to have had the opportunity to grow his local rope community as one of the founding members of a rope studio in the DC area.
