Three Ways to Camp

at Primal Arts Fest

Tent Camping: Included with registration at no extra cost.

Cabins & Private Rooms: Upgrade options include beds in dorm-style cabins or private rooms. Cabins and private rooms come with private showers, giving you a little extra comfort during your stay.

Vehicle-Based Camping: Bring your RV, camper van, or car-top tent. These spots require a reservation fee and are limited, so claim yours during registration.

No matter how you choose to camp, all attendees have access to indoor public restrooms, two large bath houses with hot water, and a spacious portable restroom near the fire circle.

Tent Camping

A campsite is included with your festival admission, just bring your own tent and gear.

Tent sites are first-come, first-pitch, with plenty of space to spread out or gather friends into your own “tent village.”

If you need electricity, a cabin upgrade might be the way to go, otherwise, stake your spot and enjoy your nights at Primal Arts Fest under the stars.

Shared Cabins & Private Rooms

Our cabins are dormitory-style, with 7–13 beds per cabin. Some are designed as duplexes or quadplexes, making them perfect for groups who want to stay close together.

For more privacy, we also offer Private Rooms. These are double-occupancy rooms in a single building with shared showers and restrooms available exclusively to private room guests.

When you upgrade to a Cabin Bed or a Private Room, you’ll enjoy a twin-size orthopedic mattress along with access to showers and bathrooms located inside your cabin. (Facilities are shared with your cabin mates.)

All cabins and private rooms include electricity, overhead lighting, and many feature ceiling fans for added comfort.

Our cabins are dormitory-style, with 7 to 13 beds per cabin. Some are designed as duplexes or quadplexes, making them perfect for groups who want to stay close together. Unless a specific share request is made, you’ll be placed with other festival attendees.

Each bed has a twin-size orthopedic mattress. Cabins include electricity, overhead lighting, and showers and bathrooms inside each cabin, shared among cabin mates. Many also feature ceiling fans for added comfort.

If you’re coming with friends or a partner and want to share a space, either register together as a group and have all attendees select cabin beds, or use the cabin share request form linked in your confirmation email and include the names or confirmation numbers for everyone in your party. Couples often place two twin beds side by side for a cozy king-size setup.

If you’d like to book an entire cabin for privacy or to share with others, please email us for rates.

Bring your own linens and pillows—whether you’re planning for a single twin or a spacious king. And yes, every cabin comes with electrical outlets, so your toys and chargers are covered.

If dorm-style isn’t your thing, recharge in your own private room in the U-Cabin. These double-occupancy rooms give you a quiet, comfortable retreat while keeping you close to everything that Primal Arts Fest has to offer.

Each room accommodates up to two people, with twin-sized beds that can be used separately or pushed together for a king-sized setup. The rooms are small but cozy, with just enough space for your belongings and a good night’s sleep after a full day of workshops, play-dates, and dancing around the fires.

During registration, if you’re sharing a room, only one person needs to select this option. Enter the second occupant’s badge name in the field provided. When the other attendee registers, they should select “tenting.”

The U-Cabin sits in the heart of the campground, just steps from the pool and help desk. It’s a short walk through the woods to the fire circle and a quick climb up the hill to the dungeon space. Taxis can usually be called via the Discord if you need assistance getting around.

Private rooms

This is the most limited and coveted lodging option and all rooms must be prebooked, either during registration or added on while they are still available. Attendees choose their specific room on a first-come, first-served basis—so plan to arrive early to secure your perfect space.

Bring your own linens and pillows, settle in, and enjoy a rare blend of privacy, comfort, and festival energy. For those seeking a premium experience, the U-Cabin private rooms offer the ultimate home base—close to the action, yet a personal sanctuary all your own.

Some rooms open onto a shared courtyard porch, while others are cozy interior rooms. A few have windows, and others are windowless—perfect for those who prefer complete darkness for sleeping.

Each room comes with electricity, overhead lights, and a fan. Shared showers are reserved exclusively for cabin occupants, and restrooms are easily accessible without entering sleeping areas.

A limited number of sites are available for vehicle-based camping, including car-top tents, tailgate tents, camper vans, and RVs. These spots let you enjoy the festival while keeping your “home” close by and secure.

To reserve a site, you’ll complete a waiver during registration, which includes a reservation fee. Please note that camping inside vehicles in the main parking lot is not allowed.

All vehicle-based camping must be fully self-contained, as there are no electrical hookups or water connections available.

Our RV sites are located close to communal showers and restrooms, giving you easy access to facilities while still enjoying the convenience and comfort of vehicle-based camping.

Because space is limited, we recommend reserving your site early to ensure you don’t miss out on this convenient camping option.
