A private bedroom with shared common areas.
VEHICLE BASED CAMP SITE
Reserve a site for your RV, camper van, car-top tent, or tailgate tent.
Tent Camping
Bring your own tent and gear and settle into the campground's designated tent camping areas.
Tent camping gives you the flexibility to choose your own setup and gather with friends to create a tent village. Shared bathrooms and showers are available throughout the event.
If you need electricity, a cabin upgrade might be the way to go, otherwise, stake your spot and enjoy your nights at Primal Arts Fest under the stars.
Dorm Style Cabin
Get a twin-sized bed, electricity, and a roof over your head without booking an entire room or cabin.
Dorm-style cabins accommodate 7–13 beds, making this a practical option for attendees who want a little more comfort than tent camping while sharing space with other festivalgoers. You can also submit a Cabin Group Request to ask to stay with friends.
As with all cabins and rooms, beds are twin sized and include an orthopedic mattress. Couples often place two twin beds side by side for a cozy king-size setup.
Facilities serving each cabin are available to its occupants. The number of bathroom and showers vary by cabin.
With this option you can either pay in full during registration or leave a 25% deposit with the balance due by April 1st.
Some cabins are accessible via a ramp. Cabins with accessible bathrooms are extremely limited. If you require an accessible bathroom or have other accessibility needs, please contact us as early as possible so we can discuss available options.
Reserve a whole cabin for up to 10 people, with your own shower and restroom facilities.
One person handles the reservation, and the group can organize who stays in each bed.
This is the option for friends who want to share a cabin without sharing it with other attendees.
Private Cabin
As with all options, bring your own linens, pillows, and personal care items.
As with all cabins and rooms, beds are twin sized and include an orthopedic mattress. Couples often place two twin beds side by side for a cozy king-size setup.
Pay in full during registration or leave a 50% deposit with the balance due by April 1st to reserve a private cabin.
These cabins are accessible via a ramp. Cabins with accessible bathrooms are extremely limited. If you require an accessible bathroom or have other accessibility needs, please contact us as early as possible so we can discuss available options.
Private room in Courtyard Cabin
The Courtyard Cabin (also referred to as U-Cabin) offers private rooms for one or two people. Each room has two twin-sized beds with orthopedic mattresses that can be used separately or pushed together to make a king-sized bed.
Rooms are cozy, with space for sleeping and personal belongings.
Rooms vary in layout. Some open onto a shared courtyard deck, while others are interior rooms. Some have windows, while others are windowless. Each room has electricity, overhead lighting, and a fan. Rooms are chosen first come and specific rooms cannot be reserved.
Shared showers are reserved for U-Cabin occupants, and restrooms are accessible without entering the sleeping areas.
The U-Cabin is located near the pool and help desk, with the fire circle and dungeon space a short walk away.
Rooms are sold by the room, not by the bed, and are priced for double occupancy whether one or two people stay. One attendee makes the reservation and is responsible for the full cost. You may keep the room for yourself or invite another attendee to share it. The second occupant does not need to be named when the room is purchased.
A private room in this building can be reserved during registration or added later through your account, while available.
As with all options, bring your own linens, pillows, and personal care items.
This building is not located near a paved road and it is central to the campground, close to HQ and the Upper Fire Pit.
We do not accept deposits for Private Rooms.
Please note that these rooms can’t be accessed without going up a couple of steps to the deck.
Private room in a historic house
Dating back to the 1800s, the Historic House offers eight private bedrooms for one to five people, along with shared bathrooms and common areas.
Rooms are reserved by the room rather than by the bed. One person purchases the room and is responsible for the full cost, then may invite other attendees to share it up to the room’s maximum occupancy.
As with all cabins and rooms, beds are twin sized and include an orthopedic mattress. Couples often place two twin beds side by side for a cozy king-size setup.
The house has a parlor and lounge area, a front porch, and a kitchenette. While the kitchenette is available as a common area to occupants, specific appliances are not guaranteed.
This building is located near the main parking lot and upper playspace, along a paved road.
Rooms are limited and can be reserved during registration or added later through your account, while available. We do not accept deposits for Private Rooms.
As with all options, bring your own linens, pillows, and personal care items.
Please note that this building can’t be accessed without going up a couple of steps to the front patio and entrance.
During registration, each room will note if it is on the first or second floor.
Vehicle-Based Campsite
A limited number of sites are available for RVs, camper vans, car-top tents, and tailgate tents. VBC sites are located near communal showers and restrooms.
There are no electrical hookups or water connections, and all vehicles must be completely self-contained. Sleeping in a vehicle in the main parking lot is not permitted.
Sites are limited, so we recommend reserving yours during registration. VBC sites must be paid in full when reserved; deposits are not accepted. You can add a site later through your account, subject to availability.
A few things to know before choosing your accommodation for PAF27.
Registration and Accommodation
During registration you’ll start by selecting General Admission and your arrival day. You can then choose from the available accommodation upgrades.
Tent camping is included with General Admission.
Cabin beds, private rooms, private cabins, and Vehicle-Based Camping (VBC) are optional upgrades that must be reserved separately.
You can add accommodation during registration or return to your account later to see what is still available. Lodging is limited, and some options may sell out before the event.
Shared Cabin Beds and Group Requests
If you purchase a Cabin Bed, you'll have your own twin-sized bed in a shared, dorm-style cabin.
If you'd like to stay with specific friends, you can submit a Cabin Group Request (a link to this will be in your registration confirmation email and available in the attendee area of the website).
Each person in your group should have reserved their own Cabin Bed, and your request should identify the people you'd like to be housed with.
Group requests are subject to availability. We'll do our best to accommodate your group, but we cannot guarantee a particular cabin or placement.
If you want your group to have a cabin to yourselves, consider reserving a Private Cabin instead.
A cabin bed can be reserved with a 25% deposit due at registration with the remainder due by April 1st.
Private Rooms and Cabins
Private Rooms and Private Cabins are reserved as a whole, not by the individual bed.
For a Private Room, one person makes the reservation and is responsible for the full cost. Depending on the room, you may keep it to yourself or invite other attendees to share it up to its maximum occupancy. U-Cabin rooms are sold as double occupancy, even if only one person stays in the room.
A Private Cabin reservation covers the entire 10-bed cabin. The purchaser is responsible for the full cost and may arrange for up to nine additional attendees to stay there.
For rooms and cabins, the purchaser is responsible for coordinating the other occupants. Be sure everyone understands the arrangement before making a reservation.
Private Rooms must be paid in full when reserved.
A Private Cabin can be reserved with a 50% deposit due at registration and the remainder is due by April 1st.
Historic House Rooms
Historic House rooms are also reserved by the room rather than by the bed. One person purchases the room and is responsible for the full cost, then may invite other attendees to share it up to the room's maximum capacity.
Check the capacity of the specific room before making your reservation so you know it will accommodate your group.
Private Rooms in the Historic House must be paid in full when reserved.
Vehicle-Based Camping (VBC)
If you plan to sleep in an RV, camper van, car-top tent, tailgate tent, or another vehicle-based setup, you must reserve a VBC site.
A completed waiver is required to reserve a site. The VBC area is a primitive camping area: there are no hookups, and vehicles must be completely self-contained. Shared campground bathroom and shower facilities are available.
Sleeping in a vehicle in the main parking lot is not permitted. If you intend to sleep in your vehicle, you must reserve a VBC site and comply with the applicable requirements.
Because VBC spaces are limited it is recommended that reserve your site during registration. We do not accept deposits for VBC site fees. You can add a VBC space later, but this is subject to availablity.
Changes and Availability
You can return to your registration account to add accommodation later, provided the option you want is still available. A later reservation is not guaranteed to have the same selection of rooms, cabins, or sites available as an earlier one.
Review your selection carefully before completing your reservation, especially when booking a room or entire cabin for a group. Make sure the accommodation type, capacity, and payment responsibility fit your plans.

FAQs
-
Yes! The best way to arrange this depends on the type of accommodation you choose.
Shared cabin beds: Each person purchases their own Cabin Bed. If you want to share a cabin with specific friends, submit a Cabin Group Request identifying the people you’d like to stay with. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, but placement together is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Private rooms: One person purchases the room and is responsible for the full cost. The purchaser can invite other attendees to share the room, up to its maximum occupancy. U-Cabin rooms are sold as double occupancy, even if only one person stays in the room.
Private Cabin: One person reserves and pays for the entire 10-bed cabin, then can arrange for up to nine other attendees to join their group.
Historic House: One person purchases the room and is responsible for the full cost. They can invite other attendees to share it, up to the room’s maximum occupancy.
If staying together is important to your group, consider your options before registering. A Cabin Group Request is a request rather than a guarantee; reserving a private room or entire cabin gives you a different arrangement.
-
Bathroom and shower arrangements depend on the accommodation you choose.
Tent camping: Tent campers use the campground’s communal bathroom and shower facilities.
Dorm Style Shared Cabins: Facilities serving the cabin are available to its occupants. The number of bathroom and showers vary by building.
Private Cabin: Each 10-bed Private Cabin has its own shower and restroom facilities for the group staying in that cabin.
Courtyard Cabin Private Rooms: The rooms do not have individual bathrooms. Shared showers are reserved for building’s occupants, and restrooms are accessible without entering the sleeping areas.
Historic House: Restroom and shower facilities are shared among the building’s occupants, with facilities available on both floors.
Vehicle-Based Camping (VBC): VBC sites do not have individual bathroom facilities. Attendees use the campground’s communal bathrooms and showers.
If having private bathroom facilities is important to you, the Private Cabin is the accommodation option with its own shower and restroom facilities.

Yes. You can return to your registration account to add accommodation later, provided the option you want is still available.
Lodging is limited, and availability can change as attendees register. Your preferred room, cabin, or site may sell out, so we recommend reserving accommodation when you register if you know what you need.
Adding accommodation later is not guaranteed, and the options available may be more limited than they were when registration opened.
-
All upgraded accommodation options are limited and may sell out before the festival. If your preferred option is no longer available, check your registration account to see whether other accommodations remain available.
You may find that another option works for your needs, such as a shared Cabin Bed instead of a private room, or tent camping instead of a cabin. These alternatives are also subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee that another option will be available once your preferred choice sells out.
You can check your account again later in case availability changes, but we recommend making your reservation early rather than relying on a space becoming available.
-
Bring your own sheets, pillows, blankets or a sleeping bag, and towels for your stay.
Cabin beds, private rooms, and private cabins each provide a bed frame and an orthopedic twin mattress for each person. Linens and bedding are not provided.
You’ll also want to bring your usual toiletries and anything else you need to sleep comfortably.
If you’re tent camping, bring your tent and all the gear you’ll need for sleeping outdoors.
-
No. Sleeping in vehicles is not permitted in the main parking lot.
If you plan to sleep in an RV, camper van, or another vehicle-based setup, including a car-top tent or tailgate tent, you must reserve a Vehicle-Based Camping (VBC) site.
VBC sites are limited and require a reservation and completed waiver. There are no hookups, and all vehicles must be completely self-contained. Shared campground bathroom and shower facilities are available to VBC campers.
Please reserve a VBC site before arriving if you intend to sleep in your vehicle. Parking in the main lot does not grant permission to camp there overnight.
-
Individual tent sites are first-come, first-pitch.
If you're organizing a tent village, the people who arrive first may mark out a reasonable amount of space for friends arriving later. This can be done after the first members of the group arrive, but space cannot be reserved or marked off before the event.
Camp staff may ask you to adjust or relocate marked-out space if it is excessive or in an impractical location.
