Private room in Courtyard Cabin

View of a wooden deck with stairs leading up to it, surrounded by green buildings with multiple doors, string lights overhead, and trees in the background.

The Courtyard Cabin (also refered to as U-Cabin) offers private rooms for one or two people. Each room has two twin-sized beds that can be used separately or pushed together to make a king-sized bed.

Rooms are cozy, with space for sleeping and personal belongings.

Rooms vary in layout. Some open onto a shared courtyard deck, while others are interior rooms. Some have windows, while others are windowless. Each room has electricity, overhead lighting, and a fan. Rooms are chosen first come and specific rooms cannot be reserved.

Shared showers are reserved for U-Cabin occupants, and restrooms are accessible without entering the sleeping areas.

The U-Cabin is located near the pool and help desk, with the fire circle and dungeon space a short walk away.

Rooms are sold by the room, not by the bed, and are priced for double occupancy whether one or two people stay. One attendee makes the reservation and is responsible for the full cost. You may keep the room for yourself or invite another attendee to share it. The second occupant does not need to be named when the room is purchased.

Rooms can be reserved during registration or added later through your account, while available.

We do not accept deposits for Private Rooms.

Specific rooms are selected as attendees arrive.

Bring your own linens and pillows.

Please note that these rooms can’t be accessed without going up a couple of steps to the deck.

Private room in a historic house

Dating back to the 1800s, the Historic House offers private bedrooms for one to five people, along with shared bathrooms and common areas.

Rooms are reserved by the room rather than by the bed. One person purchases the room and is responsible for the full cost, then may invite other attendees to share it up to the room’s maximum occupancy.

The house has a parlor and lounge area, a front porch, and a kitchenette. It is located near the main parking lot and upper playspace, along a paved road.

Bring your own linens and pillows. Toilet and shower facilities are available within the house.

Rooms are limited and can be reserved during registration or added later through your account, while available.

Please note we can’t guarantee the amenities within the kitchenette but it may include a fridge, microwave, and toaster.

Choose from 1 bed to a room with five beds.

Please note that some rooms are on the second floor and that there are steps up to the front patio and front door.

Vehicle-Based Campsite

A limited number of sites are available for vehicle-based camping, including car-top tents, tailgate tents, camper vans, and RVs. These spots let you enjoy the festival while keeping your “home” close by and secure.

To reserve a site, you’ll complete a waiver during registration, which includes a reservation fee. Please note that camping inside vehicles in the main parking lot is not allowed.

All vehicle-based camping must be fully self-contained, as there are no electrical hookups or water connections available.

Our RV sites are located close to communal showers and restrooms, giving you easy access to facilities while still enjoying the convenience and comfort of vehicle-based camping.

Because space is limited, we recommend reserving your site early to ensure you don’t miss out on this convenient camping option.

Before You Reserve

A few things to know before choosing your accommodation for PAF27.

Registration and Accommodation

During registration you’ll start by selecting General Admission and your arrival day. You can then choose from the available accommodation upgrades.

Tent camping is included with General Admission.

Cabin beds, private rooms, private cabins, and Vehicle-Based Camping (VBC) are optional upgrades that must be reserved separately.

You can add accommodation during registration or return to your account later to see what is still available. Lodging is limited, and some options may sell out before the event.

Shared Cabin Beds and Group Requests

If you purchase a Cabin Bed, you'll have your own twin-sized bed in a shared, dorm-style cabin.

If you'd like to stay with specific friends, you can submit a Cabin Group Request (a link to this will be in your registration confirmation email and avaialbe in the attendee area of the website).

Each person in your group should have reserved their own Cabin Bed, and your request should identify the people you'd like to be housed with.

Group requests are subject to availability. We'll do our best to accommodate your group, but we cannot guarantee a particular cabin or placement.

If you want your group to have a cabin to yourselves, consider reserving a Private Cabin instead.

A cabin bed can be reserved with a 25% deposit due at registration with the remainder due by April 1st.

Private Rooms and Cabins

Private Rooms and Private Cabins are reserved as a whole, not by the individual bed.

For a Private Room, one person makes the reservation and is responsible for the full cost. Depending on the room, you may keep it to yourself or invite other attendees to share it up to its maximum occupancy. U-Cabin rooms are sold as double occupancy, even if only one person stays in the room.

A Private Cabin reservation covers the entire 10-bed cabin. The purchaser is responsible for the full cost and may arrange for up to nine additional attendees to stay there.

For rooms and cabins, the purchaser is responsible for coordinating the other occupants. Be sure everyone understands the arrangement before making a reservation.

Private Rooms must be paid in full when reserved.

A Private Cabin can be reserved with a 50% deposit due at registration and the remaider is due by April 1st.

Historic House Rooms

Historic House rooms are also reserved by the room rather than by the bed. One person purchases the room and is responsible for the full cost, then may invite other attendees to share it up to the room's maximum capacity.

Check the capacity of the specific room before making your reservation so you know it will accommodate your group.

Private Rooms in the Historic House must be paid in full when reserved.

Vehicle-Based Camping (VBC)

If you plan to sleep in an RV, camper van, car-top tent, tailgate tent, or another vehicle-based setup, you must reserve a VBC site.

A completed waiver is required to reserve a site. The VBC area is a primitive camping area: there are no hookups, and vehicles must be completely self-contained. Shared campground bathroom and shower facilities are available.

Sleeping in a vehicle in the main parking lot is not permitted. If you intend to sleep in your vehicle, you must reserve a VBC site and comply with the applicable requirements.

Because VBC spaces are limited, reserve your site in advance. The site is fee must be paid in full during registration to reserve your space.

Changes and Availability

You can return to your registration account to add accommodation later, provided the option you want is still available. A later reservation is not guaranteed to have the same selection of rooms, cabins, or sites available as an earlier one.

Review your selection carefully before completing your reservation, especially when booking a room or entire cabin for a group. Make sure the accommodation type, capacity, and payment responsibility fit your plans.
